MUBI Podcast: Encuentros — “Revelation and Comedy”

MUBI Podcast: Encuentros returns this week with its third episode.
MUBI Podcast Encuentros

In the third episode of season 2, two artists from different disciplines meet to talk about films, music and their relationship with comedy.

Martín Rejtman is a director, screenwriter and author. His filmography and books combine an interest in urban life and humor with an austere aesthetic rich in characters, settings and absurd situations. Rapado, Silvia Prieto, and The Magic Gloves are some of the titles he directed. Santiago Motorizado is an Argentinian rock vocalist and composer, known for being the lead voice of the popular indie band Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado. He explored various musical genres, while retaining a certain melancholy and humour.

Martín and Santiago rebel against solemnity and talk gracefully about their first encounter with cinema and music: an irremediably unrepeatable discovery.
