Twenty-five-year-old Nikita has epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare uncurable genetic disorder which makes the skin very fragile. In search for a way to stop the disease from progressing, Nikita and his girlfriend Lera meet biologists who agree to conduct experimental therapy on Nikita.
