The fortyish Harry Moulton Pulham, Jr. is a stuffy Back Bay Boston blue blood, who is set in his conservative ways and his routine orderly life. After a lunch with a Harvard classmate, Harry starts thinking about his unfulfilled life and what it would have been like if he married another woman.
