August 1944, Liberation of Paris. We see General Patton, Chaban-Delmas, one of the leaders of the Resistance, and General Leclerc. At the end, Hitler gave the order to destroy Paris by blowing up bridges & monuments, and General von Choltitz, commander of the Wehrmacht, disobeyed it by surrendering.
