Miloud is a Moroccan artist, whose friends are the donkey Mabrouk, and the European girl Lisnia, who’s engaged to Arnold. As they meet in the Marrakesh market, Mabrouk finds itself in front of Miloud’s shop and becomes his friend. However, Lisnia asks to buy the donkey and insists on her demand.
