A prisoner, who manufactures bladed weapons and is a keen reader of Kafka, dies almost unnoticed at the hands of a seasoned but uneducated elderly inmate. His soul, surely sharpened by contact with Kafka’s literary universe, nevertheless stubbornly refuses to leave the prison.
