Our take

Commissioned and produced by “Pope of Pop Cinema” Roger Corman, Beast from Haunted Cave is the hair-rising feature debut from maverick director Monte Hellman. A low-budget horror infused with crime undertones, this is a chilling “gangster vs. monster” melange that builds to terrific climax.
