The boldness of vision is the key attraction to this. The key question is: whether the structure truly helps the story or relay the theme. I'm not sure it does. Potentially a memento reaction? The story is powerful and the performances are good (though not a fan of the cinematography), but in the end it doesn't feel satisfying.
