For 24 years, between 1980 and 2003, Gérard Courant filmed in Super-8 the staging of the Passion of the Christ, which takes place on Good Friday in the village of Burzet, in the Ardèche region, since the 13th century. Cinema is filmed at 24 images per second and the Via Crucis has 24 stations.
