The Greenaway short was the only one that took advantage of the project. Creating a spatial film that works across a "physical dimension" (at least perceived), he extends his work conceptual into the spatial dimension of time, looking at how history can be read and interpreted through a physical space.
Even though the lack of conceptual unity among the 3 films is rather a flaw, to see the use of 3D technology in new ways is a sort of first contact with new layers of the language, very sad to see a postmodernism+cinema 101 feature for teenagers right after godard's terrific essay.
Greenaway's part was quite good at exploring the potential of 3D technology in a city I am very fond of. Edgar Pêra's short film had a quite interesting start; it was such a shame that it turned out to be so very awful. Godard's pretensiousness was unbearable, that's all I have to say.
