  • PolarisDiB's rating of the film 575 Castro St.

The opening title explains this is the set of the shop where Milk developed the film for the first San Francisco gay film festival. His voice recording, "to be played only in the event of my assassination", is layered over the images of the set as through traffic reflects ghostly apparitions upon the walls. Thus, the ghost of Harvey Milk haunts the cinematic form completely, irreversibly sutured into film itself.
