A feature documentary on African American ballerina Misty Copeland that examines her prodigious rise, her potentially career ending injury alongside themes of race and body image in the elite ballet world.

I give 5 stars to Misty and her talent, but as a film this documentary is so boring and by the book, it loses art and storytelling to become a journalistic let down. I do believe we have to discuss diversity in contemporary art world, but I felt the lack of striking and more powerful images. Seeing her so beautiful, I missed the beauty on image making.
