A self-proclaimed black comedy. Well, if the "black" part of that sentence already has you hooked and you couldn't give less of a shit about the "comedy" part then you might actually enjoy it. It's got grit, grime and unfortunate events for days, but when it comes to anything that resembles wit, charisma, goofs or any of the countless other humor related terms, then it falls a bit short.
The film is described as a dark comedy and it has Dylan Moran – my favourite stand-up comedian – starring, so I expected it to be a funny film. It’s not. It’s told in quite an earnest way, even the visuals are very un-comedy-like. But dark it was, and the macabre moments when everybody just starts dying were somehow “fun”, although I did not laugh. Let’s say I went into this film with the wrong foot.
