When the perpetrators misuse the passages of the Quran which apparently giving more power to the patriarch by justifying their misdeed (Honor Killing). What’s worse is that very little can be done since the country’s regulations allow it.
Just watch it. I can't even begin to attempt to explain the thought processes behind the so-called "necessity" of honor killings in the Islamic world; but this will explain perfectly how ingrained into the culture this practice is.
