A film within a film. 16mm footage made by a police cameraman investigates a young girl’s mysterious death. The 35mm film becomes increasingly a portrait of the community that spawned the murder-and the consequences of the act.

This film deals a lot with the experience within the narrative body of the movie. The film crew has its own life outside the movie itself and a specific inaccurate rhythm of images. It is noted through a quite sloppy editing and the mixture between 16mm and 35mm.
3.5 The style is way ahead of its time regarding most of the Romanian movies made during that period, up there with the *masterpieces* (Reconstruction, Sequences, Microphone test). Subjective 16mm vs. objective 35 mm creating a playful change of perspectives, the movie is based on a true story in which great deal of acting is accomplished by local villagers, anti-climax finale etc.
