Ratings & Reviews

  1. Cojocariu Claudia's rating of the film A Girl's Tear

3.5 This film deals a lot with the experience within the narrative body of the movie. The film crew has its own life outside the movie itself and a specific inaccurate rhythm of images. It is noted through a quite sloppy editing and the mixture between 16mm and 35mm.

  2. Mihai Cristea's rating of the film A Girl's Tear

3.5 The style is way ahead of its time regarding most of the Romanian movies made during that period, up there with the *masterpieces* (Reconstruction, Sequences, Microphone test). Subjective 16mm vs. objective 35 mm creating a playful change of perspectives, the movie is based on a true story in which great deal of acting is accomplished by local villagers, anti-climax finale etc.
