“Visit to Indiana” is a collage created from home videos and a sleepy, half-hearted phone conversation between Curt McDowell, the artist who has left his rural childhood for the big city, and a family friend. He speaks of the place he has left with a nostalgic weariness. The excitement of a brave new beginning is not without melancholy.
