A Windy, But Pleasant Day exposes the contradictions inherent in a rapidly-growing social structure and exhibits clear class consciousness.
This is sort of the generation film they made a few others of around the same time, I can mention Gregory's Girl or the Finnish film Take-Off. A bit amateurish at times, but a film with lots of warmth for the characters and memorable scenes.
