Ratings & Reviews

  1. SpacePirate's rating of the film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

Solid A&C, probably one of their 5 best they made. Still, their humor was never the kind I was bowled over by, and it seems at times that Costello is basically doing his best Curly Howard impression. Still the chemistry between the duo is undeniable, and its easy to see why they were the Martin and Lewis of their day. 3.5 stars. Good horror comedy fun

  2. Aardsy's rating of the film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

  3. Cecilia's rating of the film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

This movie is certainly "Bringing up baby's" gloomy counterpart. Up until the very end, this movie is a great combination of a dark monstrous universe made up to make you shiver and the humour of being afraid of the dark and scary world of the night. It's one of those real good oldschool goosebump-movies!

  4. Jaspar Lamar Crabb's rating of the film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

a childhood favorite that definitely holds up. It's such an oddity with Bela Lugosi & Lon Chaney mixing it up with A&C

  5. Michael Harbour's rating of the film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

An amiable film. Lou Costello - and his reactions to the monsters - provide almost all of the laughs. The man is a gem.

  6. Amadeus Magnus's rating of the film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

  7. MarcH's rating of the film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

Bud & Lou's best movie, and probably the best one for the uninitiated.

  8. catch_33's rating of the film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

I've never been into Abbott and Costello all that much, but this hybrid film is fun enough for what it is. Perhaps not enough consistent laughs (most of which are attributed to Costello), but the effects are fun and its always great to see Lugosi and Chaney chew the scenery in their respective roles.

  9. AKFilmFan's rating of the film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

A funny take on the horror genre. A cleaner alternative to Young Frankenstein which doesn't sound as bad as you'd think.
