A priest comes to a small town to help get rid of a monster whose blood coagulates very fast. This creates problems as the monster is very hard to kill and then decides to go on a killing spree of its own.

It doesn't deliver on it-- due to its uneven momentum-- but it has a better central concept than Halloween, a superior film, but a remake of this D'Amato film could be just as effective as that quasi-overrated Carpenter film. Its quality is in the decent characterization, and its strewn-about slash scenes that are quite effective, outdoing most other films in the slasher heyday in their suspense and gory execution.
A disjointed mess obviously but so much grotty Euro-trash fun (this is an Italian remake of Halloween by sleaze master Joe D'Amato after all). Man, George Eastman is such a STUD, just huge all over. If Michael Myers was this fucking hot and bulging I would have sat through all of those terrible Halloween sequels with ease.
Not as bad as I thought it would be. It looks a lot like Halloween (I and II), with the music but without the mask. In fact, the suspense is well created and when you're dealing with Joe D'Amato, you don't know in advance which characters he will sacrifice. Recommended to the curious movie lovers.
