  2. Brotherdeacon's rating of the film Aerial

Aerial reminds me just how expansive motion picture images are/can be. I say tree, my mind gives me an unclear image of a simplistic child's drawing of a tree. Now, when Margaret Tait captures a tree with her camera, it displays hundreds of details in each frame--incredible randomness in which each leaf or rain drop leads to our own backstory, our own world of history. She makes our appreciable world available.

  5. robin's rating of the film Aerial

Images change without any particular sense or rhythm, like it isn't even edited, but a collection of random clips. Hermetic at best.

Tait's work is so consistent and distinct.
