  • SpacePirate's rating of the film Alibi Ike

A very silly comedy, but good springboard for the great Olivia De Havilland. Shes utterly charming, and little wonder why she became such a star. Frawley essentially plays his I Love Lucy character, but in a managers outfit. Brown is an acquired taste. I like him ok, but theres def better comedians of the 30s. Only really started checking out his movies after making my way through all the Marx, L&H, etc films. 2.5
