Critics reviews

Highlights include W.C. Fields as an inebriated Humpty Dumpty, genuinely accomplished photographic effects (credited to Gordon Jennings and Farciot Edouart, but generally attributed to William Cameron Menzies, also assumed to be the production designer), and a climactic montage more violent than anything in the annals of Peckinpah. WATCH THIS (not poison).
