Great storyline and good performances overall but it really disturbed me to see how amateurish some scenes were depicted by Almodovar... The autography and accident scene for example. That and some others took me out. But still, this was a real good one afterall.
Very moving. Characterisations so authentic and human that you cannot help be drawn in and empathise with the tumult of emotion that runs the gamut from deepest grief to great joy. Shot in beautiful Barcelona this film feels like rich and intricate tapestry.
I agree with many of the other comments that i didn't know what to expect from this film, but was a wonderful film. Deals with some quite hard issues in a very beautiful way, and pedro Almodovars humour always creeps in to lighten the mood. Love Penelope Cruz in this as always she has a lovely spanish accent one of my favourite actresses
