What are people saying?

  • José Neves's rating of the film Ami, entends-tu?

The pursuit of the "Russian soul" through the poetry and personalities of Osip Mandelstam and Anna Akhmatova, literally exposed in its construction: a crossing of Moscow in search of this poetry and the conditions that generated it. Sometimes the correlation is surprising, but most of the time reveals a not very stimulating editing form. However, and interestingly, more "Russian" than the films emerged from there.
