  • José Neves's rating of the film An Obsession

PC. Aoyama has always seemed to me to be a skilled manipulator of moments and tendencies of Japanese cinema, looking, from the genre film to abstract-utopian movements, for a process of ma(r)king contemporaryity. Nonetheless, in any of his films that i know, his intentions does not stand before an indistinction and stylistic indecision, collapsing under the will of his great attitude.
