A little bit funny and little bit charming, mainly for the fact that Robert De Niro have fun with all the mobster roles that made him famous as he goes to his head shrink, Billy Crystal, who is also surprisingly acceptable here. A solid spoof that "The Sopranos" started to serious on TV the same year.
Saw this for a second time recently. Didn't realize what a great comedy it is. Harold Ramis keeps the action skippy and the script is in turns smart and lean. De Niro brilliantly riffs off his screen persona as Paul Vitti, with Billy Crystal as a worthy foil. Joe Vitrelli almost steals the movie as Jelly, Vitti's idiotic, faithful bodyguard. Highly enjoyable.
