  3. Adam Whybray's rating of the film And Then There Were None

Up to 90 minutes in: wryly staged and deceptively genial, delivered with an assured lightness of touch. After 90 mins: you've changed the ending and ruined everything! See comments for spoilers that explain why... ! (Still leagues ahead of the soulless 2015 BBC adaptation in wit, charm and sophistication, even in spite of the changed ending.)

  4. el.'s rating of the film And Then There Were None

3,5/5. without crime and mystery, it would be a very dull world.

  5. RoRoRoro's rating of the film And Then There Were None

  6. In Space's rating of the film And Then There Were None

from the book of Agatha Cristie

  7. Rachel Tyler's rating of the film And Then There Were None

The wimpy excuse for Vera's character upsets me the most. She was the most interesting part of the novel, yet here her past and personhood are completely erased. The ending was adapted from a different play by Agatha Christie, so at least it wasn't totally bogus, but I still wish that this movie had the same ending as the book.

  8. pluviosity's rating of the film And Then There Were None

I wept and I cringed for this adaptation. I still do.

  9. Joshua's rating of the film And Then There Were None

Great mystery thriller adaptation, even if Christie changes the ending for this screenplay, to a lesser effect. 4/5

  10. Richmond Hill's rating of the film And Then There Were None

Despite a few liberties with a tight original novel, this is a superbly realised romp balancing the potential horror of a growing mound of cadavers with wit and aplomb. It's rather sad to note one had to wait thirty years for the Brabourne & Goodwin productions of the 1970s for decent screen adaptations of Christie's cinematically oven-ready novels. The intervening adaptations were largely misjudged, flat or dire.

  11. Amadeus Magnus's rating of the film And Then There Were None

Perfect whodunit with a French touch. also a great dark comedy. clearly masterpiece.

  12. marciosoares's rating of the film And Then There Were None

  13. Christopher M. Jones's rating of the film And Then There Were None

This movie strips all of the doom and foreboding of the book for cheap romance and hammy acting. A corny, sanitized interpretation of a truly fantastic novel.

  14. Conquest of Gaul's rating of the film And Then There Were None

A work of imagination, fiction, character study, mystery, murder and thrilling excitement. A four star murder mystery and a great Agatha Christie adaptation.
