  1. Cinema Omnivore's rating of the film Appointment with Danger

6.2/10, my review: https://wp.me/p1eXom-3ed "APPOINTMENT WITH DANGER at least offers a stage for the short-statured Ladd to emulate a straight-up, gallant daredevil of a hero with pizzazz and conviction.

  2. Jason's rating of the film Appointment with Danger

Well, I don't think the whole Hoover-approved omnisciently-voice-over'd noir propaganda template gets more comic than this. We are dealing w/ the hardly-hallowed U.S. Postal Service here, after all. This one is truly brazen in its fascism. And stupid. But stupid isn't a major problem. It's part of why I had some fun watching this. Man, Alan Ladd is a lunkhead. No sly KISS ME DEADLY undertones (or overtones?) here.

  3. MarcH's rating of the film Appointment with Danger

Postal inspectors...and nuns. Offbeat, maybe a little clunky, but completely breaks free from that "studio" feel with excellent location shooting. Alan Ladd is growing on me.

  4. Erik Gregersen's rating of the film Appointment with Danger

Filmed on location in Gary, Indiana!
