  1. Richmond Hill's rating of the film Appointment with Death

A pointless late-in-the-day cash-in on the sub-genre of starry Agatha Christie adaptations that missed that particular express by a good ten years. Needless to say in Winner's hands the stylish fun of Brabourne & Goodwin's films of the 1970s is flattened out into a television film-esque dawdle through a lesser novel. To call it pedestrian implies some degree of pace.
