The film’s visual structure is principally composed of variations on the arabesque: arcs of light, water spouts, spider webs, burgeoning trees, flowers and foliage, a woman’s smile, arms stretching, an arm giving rhythm to a rocking chair.

seeing this flimsy-filmy piece of wonder in such a crappy version as i did, i couldn't but recall a limp butterfly, a mutilated creature who can't compete with supersonic jets and whirls in panic at every passing tram.
Moments of graceful arabesque abstraction, arranged in a weirdly terse, staccato montage. Not sure I picked up what she was putting down. Saw this on big screen in original 16mm. Wish I'd liked it better...
