Ratings & Reviews

  1. $ROBINROSA$'s rating of the film Araby

The trapped condition of unskilled labourers and their expendability. It feels like a testament to the younger generation. There is the moment of realisation, it is short-lived, the body, the labour force, is annihilated and carries on with the written testimony. It is about the awareness of a human condition. There is the reflection and then it is too late for praxis.

  2. Alex Ander 0's rating of the film Araby

centred on marginalised workers, alludes to class struggle several times yet ends disappointingly in indie existentialism

  3. José Neves's rating of the film Araby

Digital. Indie Lisboa # 4. Although it has a somewhat academic appearance in the way introduces the characters and delays the look in gloomy clichés, from the moment that enters the narration off, the odyssey structure, it finds a direct figuration of the Earth's disinherited ones, always just with its characters-people and their framing in a story without remission. The soundless ending is extraordinary.

  4. Miggy Angel's rating of the film Araby

  5. Videograms's rating of the film Araby

Beautiful writing/acting, plays out like an epic novel. It's a heartbreaking/life-affirming odyssey.
