Ratings & Reviews

  1. Samuel T.'s rating of the film Avraham

The filmmaker is without a doubt a gentle human expressing a soft roller coaster of darks and lights; the screen is a stage for an investigation of the psyche via nature, everyday interaction, and the mundane, often caught in the most abstract perception, through layers of seeing (reflections, transparencies, light shifts), we don't even know what we are looking at, sometimes we find out, sometimes not. Brilliant.

  2. lilya's rating of the film Avraham

so i finally could watch one of the exclusive dorsky's films and i've to say it was a dissapointment.

  3. Slow Immersion's rating of the film Avraham

The highest praise for this work and Nathaniel's aesthetic, is that he manages to turn a stray diaper/nappy into a thing of beauty. The scene with the reflection of the clouds drifting through the sky on the sunglasses is one of the most remarkable shots I've ever seen.

  4. samba direito's rating of the film Avraham
