"The fate of one individual invariably fits the fate of the other and each is the hero of his own drama while simultaneously figuring in a drama foreign to him—this is something that surpasses our powers of comprehension, and can only be conceived as possible by virtue of the most wonderful pre-established harmony." – Arthur Schopenhauer
Such a heart-wrenching film. But near flawless. Stunning soundtrack, locations and the feeling of authenticity for each story was fantastic. You care for the characters and feel for them. Which is rare thing for me. A beautiful film, a sad film. With some important commentary on culture, differences and shared humanity.
Solid drama in which director shows his famous style, like in previous movies, but movie has a couple of long and unnecessary scenes, and also has unnecessary characters, and i feel that plot is not so strong for this kind of grief-movie. Violence and cruelty are best things in Babel. 3+
