Ratings & Reviews

  1. Terry_Moby's rating of the film Babylon Berlin

  5. Bob's rating of the film Babylon Berlin

Seductive introduction (that joins film-noir, Great Gatsby and Alan Moore) and satisfying conclusion. But in between, there's too much fillers and uninteresting subplots, while the lead characters are mostly bland and unrelatable. If the main plot was shortened for the half of season, it would be on a pair with high production value, which is the strongest portion of this recommendable TV show.

  6. Victória Célia's rating of the film Babylon Berlin

Amazing series, cast is amazing, soundtrack is amazing, cinematography is amazing, historical accuracy is amazing, one of the best things ever produced in Germany

  7. Arshi Rai's rating of the film Babylon Berlin

    Season 1 (16 episodes): 4 stars

  8. mootz15's rating of the film Babylon Berlin

A pulpy, 'graphic-novel'-like look at Weimar vertigo, full of 'sensational' twists and superfluous fictional bad guys. And to be honest, that is its strong suit. There is no ham-fisted attempt to revisit Berlin Alexanderplatz here and the faux-Fritz Lang clichees are contained to the opening credits and certain scene transitions. A fun watch.
