At times very strange with a grandfather so eager to see his son consummate his marriage that he locks him and his wife in a cabin. All in all, uneven and already forgotten.
Worth watching for a lighthearted Stanwyck, Buddy Ebsen and John Cromwell's easygoing direction. He was underrated. He directed "So Ends Our Night," based on Remarque's "Flotsam." That was terrific.
