    Films about people who struggled with various addictions and mental illnesses can sometimes present those things in a voyeuristic fashion. I believe these films take the "warts and all" approach only as an excuse to fetishize the trauma. I don't think this film does that because it has the perspective of people who still feel the loss of Booker, not people who want to share wacky stories about him. Informative. Sad.
