The cinematography is good. The dialogues are truly brilliant. And 100 years after the Lumiere brothers registered the patent, in 1895, it's not easy to keep making something look and feel romantic in film. Not without falling into cliché. Or without giving up art. This is good. Good cinema. Good emotional education. Every teen, pre-teen, young adult, adult, in coming decades should see it. It's part of the classics.
