    Frankly - and it may have been a fault of the subtitles, which were far from ideal - I didn't really get it. There's potential in the situation: A, who's being shunned by all his old pals, walks into a bar where he sees B, whom he was supposed to have taken into the woods and executed 20 years before during the war but didn't, and oh yeah, turns out A's mistress is B's wife. But the film never grips like it ought to.
