  • ZYNAB's rating of the film Bel Ami

what i didn't know when i started watching this was that rather than a witty sparkling tragicomedy of the type Forst is known for, it is the story of the french colonization of Morocco! i thought i was in for some period escapism n a good adaptation of the novel and ended up being TRAUMATIZED...plus it's also very boring, heavy handed and not as well shot as other forst films...what can u expect from nazi germany
