Our take

British director Peter Strickland has always been fascinated with the cinematic possibilities of sound, and would literalize said obsession with this nightmarish homage to 1970s giallo. Starring Toby Jones as a shy sound engineer, Berberian Sound Studio is a stunningly original, modern cult classic.
