Our take

Between Berlin’s rooftops, opposites attract when architect Martin meets the young activist Anna. This tender love story captures Kreuzberg at a crossroads, as different worldviews collide over the area’s gentrification. Although the Kiez has since evolved, this ’80s gem remains as relevant as ever.
