Angie Dickinson was a hottie. Lots to be proud of. Don't bother with Big Bad Mama 2 because it was shot 13 years later and they used a body double for Angie. Shatner is in this movie, and he acts his pants off.
Angie Dickinson basically sets fire to the screen with this carnally charged take on a 30's era woman and her two daughters who take to a life of crime. Roger Corman produced this drive-in classic and Carver directs within his budgetary limits quite fine.
This is one of the better bootlegging movies that take place in the 30s. Angie Dickinson was really hot and badass as she keeps William Shatner and Tom Skerritt on their toes. The daughters are kind of annoying but it's still a good film.
