This film is probably gonna get no love on this site and while my affection for it is probably mostly based on childhood nostalgia, I will argue that "Billy Madison" is a darkly comedic vision with enough surreal and berzerk touches to compare it to Bunuel and the Marx Brothers.
A film that defined my childhood. Before the age of 10, I must have watched this over 100 times. Re-watching it 15 years later was a trip. I can still quote the entire film, but now, I must say, it really is a bad movie. Hilarious, juvenile, and even ugly at times, it was fun to revisit but, like it's central character, it's time to grow up.
