What are people saying?

  • Richmond Hill's rating of the film Birth of a Nation

A heightened polemic around the uses and effects of school education by rote - and the corporal punishment meted out when it apparently fails. Akin to the combustive Britannia Hospital this play ambitiously tries a whole treatise on youths as the canon fodder for ‘no hope’ unemployment, with the misty-eyed view of Mr Twentyman’s apparently more productive approach - let the children lead it - never quite fleshed-out.
