Our take

This visual and sound collage fuses tinted early cinema footage, 16mm images of people watching an eclipse and the voice of Delphine Seyrig reading an Henri Michaux poem. Maureen Fazendeiro’s enigmatic, quasi sci-fi work evokes a distant world full of resonances between the imaginary and the real.
