Synopsis

Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty.

    Bold and adventurous, director Lee Yong Chao went deep in the Burmese jungle to catch the lives of young Baimoo and a group of men who work in the amber mines and follows them as they go underground to dig for the precious gem, as they walk through the sineous jungle roads, or sit at night around the fire as the sound of bombs from the nearby army can be heard. Baimoo's fate can't possibly leave anyone unmoved.
