It's awful in every normal sense and more: with bad overdubbing and bad lighting its biggest hindrances. This take on The Hills Have Eyes is too serious to be 'so bad it's good'. Yet, although the action choreography isn't done well, they still nailed the pacing and the sheer volume of the thrills and action. At only 81 minutes, the last 50 minutes of it is horror/action, thus it keeps it interesting.
