Ratings & Reviews

  1. Sean Patrick Stevens's rating of the film Bluebeard

Seems awful at first but then the flashback structure started to intrigue me as a clever update to the all too familiar story despite the sleazy 70's trappings. Then the ending's weirdness made it horrible all over again. So bad it's good, as they say!

  2. Michael Zyx MH Claes's rating of the film Bluebeard

DMYTRYK, communist in 44-45, convicted of anti-US activities & informer -as KAZAN- of other Hollywood leftists. 70ies, end of horror films wave & early erotic films. == Music by Ennio MORRICONE

  3. Patricia Barrera's rating of the film Bluebeard

The key to this is to not take it seriously. It's actually quite funny. Plus, it's full of beautiful women.

  4. dana danger's rating of the film Bluebeard

As a dry black comedy, it works pretty well. Plus, lots of great 70s actresses in this one, and Burton hamming it up.

  5. Jaspar Lamar Crabb's rating of the film Bluebeard

Burton! Welch! Lisi! Delon! all upstaged by...Joey Heatherton?!?!

  6. Roscoe's rating of the film Bluebeard

Unspeakable, very nearly unwatchable. Profoundly embarassing on pretty much ever level. It actually has delusions of being a sort of RULES OF THE GAME-ish dissection of the European upper classes, believe it or not.
