The beginning is brilliant. The rest of the movie, unnecessary. It would have helped to decide if it was a political movie, or a dark one (why do they flirt with the idea of being a resistance group if the point is a dark, unjustifiable, supernatural love?.. or should I say, supernatural.. sexuality?...)
Odd and perverted, this tale of violence and evil shows itself little by little, creating a world with the right amount of surrealistic gags. What a great way of discussing inherent evil within average people: it's clever, funny and plays with the viewer on a sick manner. I think this is one of cinema's reasons to exist: to expand reality by expanding its internal metaphors.
